I will guide you to a better understanding of yourself, empowering you to find solutions to your issues by making changes in your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Individual Psychotherapy involves one person (the psychotherapist) guiding another person (the client) to work through some difficult or painful emotional, behavioural or relationship problems to enhance their psychological well-being. We live in a fast moving, busy, changing world that places many demands on us. Most of the time we get on with life and are able to cope with the demands put on us, however, sometimes the demands of life can outstrip our resources.
Therapy can be a very helpful option at this point in a number of ways. It can enable you to develop a clearer understanding of your concerns and help you acquire new skills to better manage personal and educational issues. I can offer a different perspective and help you think of creative solutions to your problems. Sharing your thoughts and feelings with someone not personally involved in your life can be most helpful as they have a neutral position.
